Fingers Crossed....

If all goes as planned, we may be moving into a new house the end of October!

With a little TLC (okay, maybe a lot of TLC) this may be where we call home in a few months. We have to rehab basically the entire house and are looking forward to doing the project. I will make sure to show before/after pictures along the way!

So just to show that it is sometimes good to have a photographer in the family...I asked Nate to get a picture of the front of the house...below is what he gave me....

Nice try baby! xoxo

Almont...

So summer has kicked in full swing and we seem to just be going non-stop...and I don't see it ending very soon! This past weekend we headed up to Almont, Michigan to visit Nate's parents. We had a great time and got to spend time with Stephanie and Elizabeth and also see Nate's Aunt Jean and Uncle Mike and his cousin Rachel and her family - she has three super cute kiddos! Aidan and Lucas had a blast with them. Lucas was so tired he said "Nigh Nigh" and pointed to the house at 7:30 pm! Here are some pics of the fun we had....

They have a beautiful home and all along the driveway are gorgeous hydrangia bushes

The boys had a blast playing in the pool and Aidan loved having a driveway to ride the scooter. Of course Lucas wanted to keep up with everyone...

So much fun in the pool!

Colin and Sydney

Zack said "I farted"...

We had a great trip and the kids had so much fun. Can't wait to do it again!

Fourth time the charm?

We were playing with the settings on my camera at night trying to get a cute picture of Nate and his sister...it would have been fine if my subjects would have cooperated...

We finally got a good one!

Taking a bath Pana style!

Who has more fun?

I'm not sure who has more fun at the cottage...Aidan or Nate....

Old school playground...

While at our cottage house this past week we found this park in town...it reminded me so much of the playgrounds we use to go to! The had all the old rides - we stayed for a couple hour and had so much fun!

Aidan was so brave to go on this slide...it was so tall. I got a little nervous for him, but he did it!

I love the different color bucket seats on the swings

My favorite - we used to have a merry-go-round at the grammar school I went to (Southwest). I remember trying to get it to go so fast someone would fall off...I wonder why you never see these at parks anymore? :-)

Ryan and Nora

I had the privilege of spending time with these two little cuties a couple of weeks ago - they were so sweet together! You can definately tell they are buddies.

Kelly - your kiddos are adorable and I had so much fun with them! Your "grandma grandma's" yard is beautiful!
