Cousins...

 Trying to get four cousins together at this point for a picture can be a bit crazy as you can imagine.  We tried two different days - we wanted to give my mother-in-law a picture for Mother's Day.  You would think that with me being a photographer this would be easy...but it is never easy, especially with my own children!

 I love Jude's face in the one below!

 This next one makes me smile - they are so cute - even with a bad hair day!  

I must say, I did think some of the above were pretty cute, but I realized after just how awful my boys' hair looked!  So after a trim (Aidan must have realized it as well - he cut his own hair the next day!)...we did another shoot that turned out pretty cute as well...

I love this last one too of Auntie Amy and baby Jude!

"Cousins" Outakes...

 For mother's day we tried to get a picture of the four grandkids together...we were somewhat successful, however, I think sometimes the ones that don't really work are really the best...so enjoy...

 

Mother's Day 2012...

 We had a fantastic day yesterday.  It started off a little rocky (Chloe throwing up; Lucas waking up way too early)...but after that we had a great day.  We started with an improptu photo session with Nate's family - it was the rare occasion that everyone was around, so we met up at the park and took some family pictures. 

We then went to Amy's for a yummy brunch, then out to Tinley for an amazing BBQ at my sister's house.  Overall it was a great family day - just the way I love to spend Mother's Day!  I even got a few good pics of me and my boys (thanks to Kylie for taking these)!

First tooth!

 Aidan came upstairs last night yelling "Help Mom, I think I broke my tooth!"  After we established that there was no recent trauma, we realized Aidan had his first loose tooth!  He went back and forth being upset that his teeth were going to fall out and being proud that big boy teeth were coming in...so cute.

 

Well, it ended up officially coming out at school today during lunch - in a cheeto.  Yep, it was a proud and shining moment for my boy...his tooth, stuck in a cheeto at school for all his friends to see.  Apparently he is the first of his friends to lose a tooth - so this may (or may not) make things a little less traumatic for them when they lose their first tooth - at least they have a cool story to tell their parents today anyway!  

 To celebrate I made him a tooth fairy monster pillow - it turned out pretty cute if I do say so myself!

Off to work with Daddy...

It was bring your child to work day at Nate's office on Thursday.  Aidan was so excited...he was counting down the days.  He picked out his clothes and had to make sure he and daddy wore their matching red shirts.  Nate's office goes all out...they plan activities for the kids and projects for them to do.  Aidan came home with a whole bag of goodies...including his own Equity International business cards and a disposable camera that they were able to use throughout the day to take pictures (on a side note - can you believe Target doesn't develop film anymore?  Craziness.).  

Poor Lucas is all about daddy right now and was beside himself that he couldn't go with them to work.  Soon little man you will be big enough too, all too soon I am afraid!
