Six.

At six Aidan loves:

1.  Grilled cheese.
2.  Mariocart and Kirby.
3.  Pokemon cards.
4.  His new friends at school - Oliver and Jack.
5.  Playing basketball and swimming!
6.  Reading books.

7.  Snuggling with mom.
8.  Playing with dad.
9.  Legos.
10.  Playing with Lucas.

He doesn't like:
1.  Salad!
2.  Mean kids. 
3.  Playing with Lucas.

He says overall "he just feels a little bigger now that he is six"....

Our first Chuck E. Cheese birthday party...

Our sweet neighbor, Alisa, had her birthday party at Chuck E. Cheese on Saturday - Aidan and I had a great time!  It was crazy, but lots of fun. Aidan was so cute with his tokens - he was really excited.

Love this kid so much - he really wanted to take a picture with me...our first try wasn't so good....

 

But I think we nailed it on our 2nd try!

I will cherish this as I know soon enough he won't want me anywhere near him when he's hanging with his friends at Chuck E. Cheese...

Pump it up...

Poor Lucas.  Lucas got invited to his buddy, Braiden's birthday party at Pump It Up.  Aidan always LOVED this place so I guess I assumed Lucas would too!  He was terrified.  He hated it.  Poor guy!

Happy birthday Braiden!  We are so happy to have you as a neighbor and a fun playmate for Lucas!

Happy Birthday Amy!

For Amy's birthday we went to a show at the Riviera - Grace Potter and the Nocturnals.  It was so much fun and such a great show!  

Not sure why they are blue...but cute anyway!

Why I haven't been blogging....

The flu hit our house - both boys were sick.  Poor Lucas had the flu and a the respiratory virus.

 Lots of snuggle time with my sick little boys.  We were down for the count for about two weeks.  I am so glad they are feeling better and that Nathan and I didn't get it! 

New carpool buddy....

Aidan has made a new best friend and we carpool to school with her every day!  Alisa lives down the street and is such a sweet addition to our daily routine! 

Lucas first real haircute...

We love to get out to see my friend Julie for haircuts when we can.  Both boys are smitten with Julie and Susie.  Aidan said this time "Julie is soooo beautiful...and I am going to marry Susie some day!"  (Susie is happily married with two boys of her own...)  Love it!
