This is what eight looks like in our house....

Silly. Fun. Determined.  These are the three words that first come to mind when I think of Aidan. I love this age - it is challenging, yet he is becoming such a little person with ideas and dreams of his own.  Ahh...swoon.  Love this little man...

Lucas is 4 and a half....

It is pretty important to note that Lucas is not four anymore....he wants everyone to know - he is growing!  4.5 and sweet as can be! 

Missing you....

I want to put this out there somewhere - just not on Facebook I guess.  Holidays can be hard.  It's been a few years since my dad passed away.  Sometimes it seems like yesterday still.  There are pictures, moments and songs that still trigger such sadness for me.  Please remember how hard holidays can be for some and be extra kind.

My friend Traci and her blended family came to Pana for a night - they kids had so much fun - oh to be a kid and have a cottage to run around at...I hope they know how lucky they are....

River Roast

 John opened a new restaurant this summer and we were lucky enough to be invited to an opening party - it was amazing!!!!  I am sure this restaurant will be a great success - great food and a great location!
