(photo courtesy of Colonial Chapel website)My aunt Dolores (actually my mom's aunt) passed away last week. Aunt Dolores was one of those super cool moms. She raised 5 boys - so I think she had to be! She and my uncle endured the tragic loss of a child and handled it with far more grace than I could imagine. I have many fond memories of holidays spent at her house. We had so much fun!
She was a kind, compassionate and super witty woman. I so admired her strength and her faith. She will be missed, but I know she is in good company with Jimmy and my dad!
