Easter 2011

Aidan pretty much does everything these days that he can without clothes on. Is that a boy thing? Here he is coloring Easter eggs...

We went to Mom's house for Easter this year. It was strange/sad without Dad. It was great that Kris' family was there. Aidan had a blast hunting for Easter eggs in the yard - he needs a little competition though - next year I think will be a little different...

Kelsey was so cute - she helped in the hunt. I teased her that she dressed like an Easter egg for the day - but really, you could put that girl in a paper bag and she would look adorable!

Lucas was happy - he got to chew on a plastic egg and got lots of lovin' on Easter...so glad he is feeling better!

Can I tell you how much I LOVE this picture below? My brother Ken is such a talented artist...I love that he is showing Aidan a few things - Aidan really loves to draw/color - it would be great if some of Ken's artistic abilities rubbed off on him!

Amanda and Joe...

I still cannot believe my cousin Amanda is old enough to be getting married...but yet she is...

Today we headed out to Lincoln Park Zoo to meet up with Amanda and her fiance, Joe, and his son Ian. Aidan is in awe of Ian and thinks everything he does is cool. While at the zoo I got to play a little bit and do some pictures of Amanda, Joe and Ian. Here is a sneak peak:

Improvement!

Aidan has had very little interest in writing his own name. He loves to color - but he is more of an "abstract" artist. We have been working every day on his name and I am so impressed with his improvement!

I wrote the top line and he wrote the bottom.

11 years...

...and we still like each other! It's been a great 11 years and I'm looking forward to many, many more!

Last weekend we spent a lot of time out in Tinley - my cousin Amanda is getting married and a lot of family came to town for her bridal shower. I didn't get a lot of pictures (I was having too much fun!), but here are a few.

I didn't get a picture of Amanda and Joe (but I will soon - I am doing their engagement pictures next weekend!)...but this is Aidan and Ian. Ian is Joe's son - Aidan thinks he is sooo cool!

We had Mark/Cindy/Mary and Ken/Jackie from Michigan, Liz & Maddie, Uncle Dave from Connecticut, Lori & Anna from Indiana and Uncle Harry from California all in town for the weekend - it is always a good time when everyone is in town!

The shower was really nice and Amanda got some really nice things. Congrats to Amanda and Joe - we are looking forward to the wedding!

My cousin Debra had Abigail 3 months after Lucas was born - she's already as big as him!

Uncle Harry (Grandpa to Abigail) was in town this week. I know my mom has really enjoyed spending time with her brother and I'm sure he was glad to spend some quality time with his grandbaby!
