The coutdown....

The countdown until the last day of school has begun - they are counting down using the alphabet...today is "C"... Crazy hat day!

Memorial Day...

We headed down to our cottage in Pana, Illinois for a long holiday weekend.  I am always hesitant in the Spring to go to Pana, you see, it is such a playground in the Spring for the boys, but I always think I am going to be bored.  And I am always soooo wrong.  Don't get me wrong - the boys had a great time, Aidan didn't want to leave.  He even asked if we could move there.  But having my family down there (Mom, Katie, Kelsey and Kevin - we missed the rest of you!!!) and we had some friends down (Shirley and Amanda) - it just so relaxing and a great time.  Here are some of the highlights (again, pics from my phone, not the best quality)....

Walk for Autism...

On Saturday morning I got to hang out with my lil' sis, Katie.  We did the Autism walk on the lakefront - it was a great day for a great walk!  Here are some of the highlights....

My favorite place...

I love the Chicago Botanic Gardens, so if I have the opportunity to do a photo session there I jump at it!  I took the boys along for one photo session and got some fun pics of them - LOVE!

Mother's Day...

Aidan's classroom had a very nice tea party for the moms...it was so cute.  They had snacks/drinks, painted our nails and made a little video.  Aidan was so excited I was there - it was very special.

On Mother's Day we had a BBQ at our house - so much fun spending time with family and especially my boys!!!

St. Joe...

I recently took a trip with just Aidan to St. Joseph, Michigan to meet some of my extended family for dinner - we had a great time!  It was so good to spend some one on one time with Aidan, and to see my Michigan relatives!

 Aidan was so happy that Ian (my cousin Amanda's son) was there - he loves hanging out and playing DS with him....

 We had a big group!  Uncle Harry was in town from California, so it was great to get so many of us in one place.
